Transportation

Taxis

Local taxis are yellow and can be taken in almost any point of the city. Fares vary depending on distance travelled and the zone as they have no meters.

At the airport taxis are white (often Vans) and are the only mode of transport within the grounds of the Airport and will take you wherever you need to go. Off the airport grounds one can take other public transportation.

Within the Zona Romantica, taxis should be 50 pesos. Going to Amapas should be 80 pesos, Conchas Chinas will be 100 pesos and up depending on where in CC.

Taxis can be bargainedAlways agree on the price before you get in the taxi.

Make note of the Taxi number in case you leave something behind.  Also, most taxis do not carry a lot of change, bring small bills.
