Matts place was amazing! It is a bit of hike (up either stairs or hill) to get to the place from the romantic zone, but the views are 100% worth it and ubers/ indrive are very inexpensive there and easily accessible. The place had a very local and authentic feel to it and had everything we needed for our stay. Matt was really responsive and allowed for both an early check-in and late check-out to accomodate our travel! I would 100% stay here again. The pool area and roof was wonderful and we even saw the fireworks most nights.

matt was a wonderful host and answered all of our questions very quickly and very thorough via the app. the house itself was very charming with mexican decor and flair.... the AC was super efficient and appreciated!! there was quite a lot of construction happening on all sides of the house (not a lot of privacy on the rooftop) but that's to be expected in mexico when you're a little outside the downtown area.
the "casita" downstairs was an awesome private little studio, where a couple of our friends could retire early and not worry about late-night noise from the larger group in the casa. absolutely loved our stay in gorgeous PV, and would definitely be interested in booking this spot again!!

The 413 steps to the apt were fantastic exercise and the view from the platform on the roof was pretty impressive. There were some cleanliness, bedding, and clutter issues I mentioned to Matt so I wont' put those here because I truly believe he's a host that cares and has said he'll make changes. There are moisture issues in the bathroom that definitely need attention and that (along with my mention above) are why I feel his apt was overpriced. I did feel secure and Matt, along with his staff, are all very friendly and responsive and there was a binder FULL of incredible information upon arrival. I was appreciative there was a washer and beach towels, and a life saver was access to call long distance in North America till I got my SIM/chip card for my phone.

Couldn’t be happier. What a wonderful house . Clean ,stocked ,in a great neighborhood .The views from the upper deck were amazing ,we loved being in town . Short walk to anywhere you want to be .The hills are a bit challenging if you aren’t physically fit but Uber is easy to get . Communication was excellent. If we needed anything it was addressed immediately. Can’t wait to come back. Thank you for an amazing stay !

Casa Madina was an excellent place for our family of 5. The views are great from the upper deck and the small pool was amazing to cool off in for our August trip, not to mention a great place to watch the sun set. The hike up to the place can be challenging at the end of the day, but a good way to work off all the amazing food PV has to offer. The house was well stocked compared to most rentals we’ve used and the owner and manager were easy to get hold of for questions. We also liked the traditional feel and look of the home. We would definitely stay again in the future!

Place was awesome! It was very clean and the rooftop pool was a great way to cool off after a hot day!

Amazing, gorgeous property. I have never stayed at a place that was BETTER than the pictures. Until now. We absolutely loved our 10 short days at Casa Madina. The house was immaculate and had plenty of room for our teens to spread out. Everything we needed was a short walk from our doorstep. It’s a steep climb getting back from town but the view from the rooftop deck was more than worth it. Highly recommend staying here.

My friends and I stayed here for PV Pride and it was an awesome stay because it was very close to the downtown/zona romantics area, but it also had an immaculate view of the ocean from the rooftop view! The place has everything you will need for meals at home, entertainment, and relaxation. I would definitely recommend a stay here!

La maison est vraiment parfaite et les photos sont la réalité de ce que vous vous aurez sur place. La cuisine est complète et vous permet de cuisiner, si vous en avez envie. Les lits sont très confortables.
Pour la terrasse, elle est vraiment génial avec la piscine et la vue incluant les coucher de soleil.
Gabriella la gestionnaires qui est sur place est vraiment sympathique et répond rapidement, si vous avez des questions.
La maison est situé en montagne, donc ça peut ne pas convenir à tous, car il y a des pentes abruptes et/ou des marches à monter. La majorité des voisins sont des locaux et ils sont très sympathique. Pour nous, c’était un plus de vivre dans une maison de type mexicaine plus loin des tours à condo. Même si la maison est en montagne, elle est situé à 10 minutes à pied de la majorité des bars, restaurants et des plages.
Le seul bémol, n’est pas de la faute du propriétaire, mais ça quand même été un irritant pendant nos 5 semaines à la casa. Il y une nouvelle tour à condo qui va se construire juste en face de la maison et pendant tout notre séjour on entendait des pelles mécanique, du marteau piqueur ou du forage, donc c’est très bruyant et cela faisait en sorte qu’on ne pouvait pas ouvrir les fenêtres et la terrasse était toujours sale à cause de la poussière. C’est un point à considérer, si vous voulez un endroit qu’il n’y a pas de bruit.

The house is really perfect and the photos are the reality of what you will have on site. The kitchen is full and allows you to cook, if you feel like it. The beds are very comfortable.
For the terrace, it is really great with the pool and the view including sunsets.
Gabriella the manager who is on site is really friendly and responds quickly, if you have any questions.
The house is located in the mountains, so it may not be suitable for all, as there are steep slopes and/or steps to climb. The majority of neighbors are locals and very friendly. For us it was a plus to live in a Mexican-style house further from the condo towers. Even though the house is in the mountains, it is located a 10 minute walk from the majority of bars, restaurants and beaches.
The only downside, is not the fault of the owner, but it was still an irritant during our 5 weeks in the casa. There is a new condo tower that will be built right in front of the house and throughout our stay we could hear mechanical shovels, pickle hammer or well so it was very noisy and it meant we couldn't open the windows and the deck was always dirty because of the dust. This is something to consider, if you want a place that is quiet.
